Our Environmental
Policy
The care which Mark
Wilkinson puts into furniture design and making is reflected
in the way which the entire company approaches its role in
environmental issues.
Mark Wilkinson uses only the
highest quality crop grown sustainable hard woods and soft
woods and we plant two trees for every client’s furniture
order.
In addition to educational tours and talks for
the local schools, we have an apprenticeship scheme
for |

students. We wish
to inspire high standards within the company and industry
alike, and by imparting our knowledge to others we keep
masterful techniques of furniture making alive.
Our
policy is to recycle the majority of our waste wood products
where possible and to use water based stains instead
of
solvent-based stains to
protect the air we
breath.
Mark Wilkinson furniture continually strives to
further improve the quality of their products. After all, what
can
be more environmentally friendly than designing and
making furniture that lasts and lasts. |
